《只能谈情不能说爱》是一本小说，也是一张小说配乐概念唱片，音乐 + 主题曲为故事添上色彩……

我成长于70-80年代的香港，那时候，电视主题曲都脍炙人口，除了因为当时的娱乐不多外，亦因为那些主题曲都比今天的认真 – 认真的配合剧情，都能为剧集作点睛。

我希望我的小说都有画面，都立体。我亦认为音乐与影像不能分割，我更认为主题曲能为故事添上色彩。

所以《只能谈情不能说爱》是一本小说，也是小说配乐概念唱片。”

本书一共收录了四个不能开花结果的爱情故事。一个不敢接受恋爱的教师、一个暗恋邻店女孩的糖果店东主、一个专为同事解决爱情烦恼的办公室职员，和一个忍痛让爱的剧社社长；Wasabi以细腻的笔触，透过四位主触爱情路上不同的经历，道尽了只能谈情，不能爱的百般滋味。为配合由now.com.hk拍制的小故事MTV，小说内更收录了由梁汉文、方力申、邓健泓及古巨基演绎的四首小说故事主题曲歌词。
