JOGOS PAN-AMERICANOS: O SEGUNDO MAIOR EVENTO POLI-ESPORTIVO DO MUNDO

Somente as Olimpíadas são maiores que os Jogos Pan-Americanos. Criados em 1946 e tendo sido realizados pela primeira vez em 1951, contam com mais de 30 esportes e 42 países. Eis todas as sedes:

1951 - Buenos Aires (ARG)
1955 - México (MEX)
1959 - Chicago (EUA)
1963 - São Paulo (BRA)
1967 - Winnipeg (CAN)
1971 - Cali (COL)
1975 - México (MEX)
1979 - San Juan (PRI)
1983 - Caracas (VEN)
1987 - Indianápolis (EUA)
1991 - Havana (CUB)
1995 - Mar Del Plata (ARG)

Apenas em 2 ocasiões os EUA não foram os primeiro-colocados no quadro de medalhas. Uma vez foi em Havana, Cuba, em 1991. EM QUAL OUTRO ANO OS ESTADOS UNIDOS NÃO FICARAM EM PRIMEIRO E POR QUEM FORAM SUPERADOS ?
