| Hoofbeats pound steady rythmn 'pon hard packed road, announcing arrival of another lost one. Slender, quick steed slows to figety halt from cue of skillful rider. Lithe mascu vaults from back bare of entrapment with ease of long practice, running hand 'long brightly colored coat, fingers tracing carefully painted on symbols. Nickers is emitted as virile steps away, attempting to follow adored one despite restraint. Stepping into slightly chilly abode youth turns dark optics 'pon other inhabitants, seeking out elder for instruction. One hand is put in hidden pocket, touching gently feather of a great eagle. A finger strokes the feather, allowing familiarity to be drawn from totem. Soft voice, words indistinct to others, intended for none other is whispered.

Virile stands slightly smaller than others of this age. Diminuitive though he is Chetan should never be taken lightly as a fighter. Handy with knife and archery work as well as skillful in hand to hand combat male can put up and win a fight with or without weaponry. Ebon hair cascades loosely down back, a few strands braided in tradition of ancestors. Leggings of deer hide are worn, shirt of the samre pliable animal skins.

Chetan is quiet, many times considered laconic. Taight from youth to disguise emotions male has mostly perfected keeping an indeterminable pate. Loyal once trust and friendship is gained, as well as protective of those he cares for. Mascu is the epitome of a young Sioux warrior.

Born to eldest son of the chief Chetan has had an advantage from the day he was born. Raised in the way fo the Lakota male grew to be a respected warrior and respected horseman. Virile followed ingrained tradition of family line, all of whom were great warriors. At the age of eleven summers Chetan's village was attacked by a warring tribe. Youth carries many scars from this fateful battle, one of the painfully few survivors of the massacre. Sent away to live elsewhere by neoteric chief Chetan took steed taken care of from foaling, departing for white man's world, a land unfamiliar to one who's life had been spent sheltered on Native American Reservation, hidden away in the mountains.
