bay roi looks 'round his terra. nares open wide to catch scents of heard members. stallion shakes the snow and ice from his thick coat, hopefully for the last time this season. he basks in the warm temperatures after the bitter winds. bay stud takes a look around, watching the snow fall from the trees as it begins to receed into the earth. sigh flutters from muzzle and tail flicked at flanks. he watches for fellow herd members.
