Subject: Queens and AAF don't judge the garment. They judge on fit and age appropiate. My daughter beat a gorgous pageant dress at AAF nationals because she was having fun and was confident in what she was wearing. The same goes for Queens, they want to see a child having fun. There have been several times in many different systems that kids in Sunday best have beaten kids in pageant dresses because of personality and other things.
