Aloha from Honolulu. Although the weather is sunny and bright here, my wife and I (both former New Englanders) are looking to retire back in your area. We LOVE Maine and miss "The Way Life Should Be". Brooks looks absolutely beautiful! We are coming east at the end of February to look around. Anyone have a home for sale?
In the meantime, if anyone of you find yourselves in Honolulu, we'd be happy to show you around our island!

Hi BILL and the "Misses"....doesn't that sound like Maine? .....was looking through the SITE of "BROOKS" ...we used to Vend or do the FIELD DAY....4th of July and need the new COMMITTEE CONTACT and saw your message. In the Navy(*back and forth on the USS BENNER(DESTROYER) and USS ST PAUL CA73 fm Long Beach,CA to Yosuka and the South Pacific - used to be IN and OUT of PEARL and later on; since I was in Broadcasting....worked ON AIR...also, was the VOICE of HAWAII (NEWS ANCHOR) and other Personality duties with late night-HOWARD HANSON Show....Lucky LUCK was around at that time....we used enjoy dinner with the "HAWAII 50 CREW" over at the BOAT HOUSE in the HILTON....lots of good times...and then back at the old KORL (70's) on Kalakua across fm the Royal Hawaiian...took Dottie with me....in and out and finally ' back ' to another favorite spot RENO,NV! ....but, due to Family obligations have our little 'nest' Summer home in the WOODS (*south of ) SKOWHEGAN....just saying hello! ....gotta get ready for BROOKS---they, may let US in to do the 'show" ....4th of July....always another GANG running it! .....wanted to say hello....remembering the old days on OAHU....Mahalo!
