Well, look at everything you can, untill you find a trap. There is usually a trap in every room, and it'll be fairly easy to disarm if you look carefully at everything. Take very little with you, except maybe a stiletto and some priests, and get all your skills up as high as you can. If you're just careful and have all the proper skills, you should make it through alive.
