Subject: Blue arch

I found a small blue arch in a hollow by a creek, near the hut east of Mad Stoat. Anyone know of any use for it?

Also, am I right in concluding that the hut is something for one of the guilds? I can't enter the hut, but I can type "look enter hut" and see an npc named Gath and a message board.
