If you've read the Discworld books like I have (I've read just about every one), you'll find that the bases for some quests come from them. I've found a lot of quests this way. But most of the quests are just insane, with no reference to any book, and they almost all involve a crazy syntax/command war. I've been doing quests for a long time now, and have completed a heck of a lot of them (450ish/692 qp). At first I liked to just look around for them, explore. I explored most of the disc this way. But as I went along I realized that some quests were really stupid, almost making no sense, so I resorted to quest lists. I can't even remember the first one I used, but I remember it was before whoever owned mudquests.co.uk made his first quest site. Gah, creators, quests are fun to do, but there is a limit to how hard they should be. The worm sword is a perfect example of this. I'd like to see a number of people who did this quest by themself, as it is almost impossible to do this with out already having the solution. I also thought that posting a trap to this board was kinda cheap, an underhanded method. Just let it be, and stick to people giving hints on the mud.
