This is the first poem to be posted here. Please feel free to make any comments you wish....

GLISTENING STEEL

Steel glistening inside my palm.
Razor-stiletto blade honed to perfection,
Held loosely against my thigh,
Awaiting my mark.

Footsteps in the silence of the night,
Left foot heavier, as always.
A dim shadow around the corner
Followed by the flesh I crave.

Forearm muscles tense;
I swivel silently.
A smooth strike;
Stiletto slicing through tendons,
Muscles and airing his throat to the skies.

Blade cleaned against his outstretched leg;
Retracted and pocketed.
I walk gently into the night,
Smiling.
