THE WORD OF GOD ON HATE AND PREJUDICE

(Proverbs 10:18.)
He that hides hatred with lying lips, and he that utters a slander,
is a fool.
In the multitude of words there wants not sin:
but he that refrains his lips is wise.

PREJUDICE IN THE CONGREGATION

(Proverbs 26:24.)

He that hates dissembles with his lips, and lays up deceit within him; When he speaks fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.
Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness
shall be shewed before the whole congregation.
Whoso digs a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolls a stone, it will return upon him.
A lying tongue hates those that are afflicted by it;
and a flattering mouth works ruin.

THE PUBLIC SCORN OF THE GOSPELS

Proverbs 14:6
A scorner seeks wisdom, and finds it not:
but knowledge is easy unto him that understands.
Go from the presence of a foolish man, when you perceive
not in him the lips of knowledge.
The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way:
but the folly of fools is deceit.
Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favor.
The heart knows his own bitterness;
and a stranger does not intermeddle with his joy.

The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways:
and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.
