Is the Redang Island open at the end of Nov?

I heard that the island will closed from nov. to dec. is that true?

As far as I can tell only one resort will be opened on Redang Island. The Berjaya Hotel which is located on the northern side of Redang enclaved by a bay.

Unlike the other resorts located on the southern and eastern side of the island, these resorts will be close because of the monsoon which brings huge surf, rain and typhoon winds towards year end.
