Was there a few years back on a daytrip from Redang when there were only 2 resorts then (Blue Coral & Sq.Point). Today there are 2 more resorts but it should still be far less crowded than Redang. Beach and housereefs are not as good but acceptable; Redang has more sites and variety for snorkelling/diving. However, good opportunity to encounter adult blacktip sharks at the housereef in front of Square Point. Some packages to Lang Tengah include a trip to Redang Marine Park Centre. Can't share much about the resorts as I've never stayed at any of them.

We were in Lang Tengah in September last year and stayed at Blue Coral. Having been to Perhentian Besar and Redang, I have to say that we prefered Perhentian Besar for both snorkling and diving. However, the facilities and staff at Blue Coral were very good, especially their dive masters. The housereef in front of Blue Coral is quite decent. We saw turtles, small sharks and a whole lot of other sea life as well. Hope this helps.
