i'm going to redang on 1st April...so i would like to know about redang reef...the resort...its it beautiful, suitable for youngsters....and would u recommend the best beach on redang island...

You can find out more about Redang Reef Resort from my Diary section (www.redang.org/diary.htm). Stayed there 4 times between June 1999 - June 2002. It's location perched on top of a rocky outcrop offers nice vistas of southern Pasir Panjang. Quaint, cozy budget resort that offers comfortable basic accommodation & facilities. As long as young children don't wander off to the rocky slopes and play on them, should be quite safe.

Best beach? I find all the beaches on Redang are nice - Teluk Dalam, Pasir Panjang, Teluk Kalong... take a look at my beach photos & writeup on the Resorts page (www.redang.org/resorts.htm). My personal favourite is an empty stretch of beach known as Teluk Dalam Besar (where there are no resorts) near Berjaya Beach.
