I totally agree on that point. Each have their pros and cons. Berjaya is a lot quieter than Laguna but can be a bit on the expensive side. Laguna however gives you the choice of exploring more of Redang than just the resort area itself. And that side of the island is a bit more "happening(?)" with the numerous beach discos within walking distance of each other. If peace and quiet is what your looking for than Berjaya is the place. If action and the night life is your likes, than i would recommend Laguna.

Khairil, thx for your feedback. I have booked for Berjaya Redang so hopefully it'll be good. Hmm, I called the sea activity desk at the hotel and they said that they charge RM30 round trip if guests wanna go to Pasir Panjang. Heard sometimes different staff will quote different price for the boat rides so I suppose have to check out with different people.
