My guess is that CRIR will be quite as usual, because the heavy machinery construction works would have stopped by now with manual labourers working on the fittings.

It is just a shame as it was a nice forested area between CRIR and Holiday Villa with monkeys play near the vegetation line along the beach. No more now. The only monkeys to be found are now at the back of Laguna, the hilly-forest facing rooms.

I just got back from Redang this morning.
The construction is right next to CRIR, right behind our semi-d unit. Not as dusty as I expected.

We still managed to see many monkeys messing the rubbish bin in CRIR.

In short, CRIR is really a good choice, not as big as Laguna and less noisy than other resorts.

Thinking of going to Redang again this September. Just too bad that the air package does have CRIR on their list. Only Berjaya Beach Resort and Laguna. Cost much more with air tickets with the other resorts.

On both occassions at CRIR, I like the people there. Quite and food was good. What a concidence, we stayed at the semi-D that is right behind where the construction is (no construction at the time though).

We were on the left side closer to the water-tower. Mmm... well I hope CRIR folks sees this post and have Berjaya Air include their resort on the package list. A couple of months back, they had only Berjaya Beach Resort and now it has another resort is on the list as well.
