Hi all,

Solved the mystery of Lang Tengah! Just back from a wonderful 4D3N getaway there with a wonderful stay at Square Point Resort!

Resort: Well-maintained and clean. Resort staff are generally courteous and friendly except for a few. Staff that are in-charged of the sea sport centre and snorkelling trips are fantastic and knowledgeable.

Facilities: A souvenir shop selling sun tan lotions to tee-shirts and snorkelling mask. Ice creams and cold drink/beer available too.Canoe Rental can be done in this shop.

Seasports centre provides rental to mask and fins, volleyball and boat rental for personal snorkelling trip.

A Beach volleyball court is available for all to use.
Beach Pub/club: opens lateer in the evening. Karaoke, pool table available, serving any drinks. Turning into a disco lateer in the nite.

Dive shop: There's one with Tanks and boat to cater to the divers. Friendly bunch of pple sharing experience there!

Cafeteria: All food are buffet style, serving local home-cooked style food. Standard are soso if you are there just to stop ur hunger. Visitors from outside Asia, the food may not suit your taste. Plus point to note is that the cafeteria serves free-flow of biscuits and bread, jams and butter, coffee, tea and orange juice free-flow 24 hours a day for pple with abyss stomach!

Rooms: Rooms are basic with clean bedsheets. Air-con and attached bathroom but no hot-water shower.

Beach: White Beautiful sandy beach and generally clean except for isolated litters.

Sandflies: YES! do be careful of this nasty creature..appearing in the late evening...

Sea: Superb! clear and clean! with visibility >5m on average day.

Corals: Generally hard Corals. Sea shelf gradual to the point of buoy where it drop into depth.

Sealife: Colorful common coral fishes, sea cucumber and Blacktip (saw 3 of them) swimming near the beach and highlight are the turtles (Saw 3 of them too) swimming near to the shore during high tide.

Jungle: Trekking tracks are available and u can trek to the nearby resorts. or alternatively, u can walk/climb along the shore line to reach the other resort, where the water is calmer.

Overall had a fantastic getaway there and will be back for more!

Hey, thanks for the JBR.

Did it rain while you where there? Was the surf at the SPR calm through out the 4D3N or does it change from day to day?

Thanks.

The weather was perfect!..blue sky, sunny day...
Surf not exactly calm at SPR...choppy at times with prevailing current from Southeast...undercurrent quite strong..for weak snorkellers..
