Subject: SafeSea SunTan Lotion

Fantastic site! Saw yr recommendation on Safe Sea Suntan lotion, and spent the weekend looking for it at pharmarcies and supermarkets here in Singapore. Anyone with ideas where I can buy it, and how much is it anyway?

Not sure if SafeSea's local distributor still carry it, but worth a try...

Anyway, even if you don't manage to get it, don't worry. You can still protect yourself from marine stingers by covering up more e.g. wear a long-sleeve T shirt while snorkelling. The other advantage is that it is actually cheaper in the long run to cover up to avoid getting sunburnt (suntan lotion can be quite expensive), especially if you go for those UV-protection tops. I just use my 0.5mm full-length wetsuit which isn't too hot for snorkelling in, yet provides adequate warmth when diving in tropical waters.
