I'm going in 2 weeks time (1st trip too). I bt. Kodak's underwater+sport disposable camera for $16. There are 27 shots in it. Its widely available in regular photo shops and stores.

Regarding snorkelling - do resorts like Berjaya rent out powered goggles, typically for 500 degree spec-wearers?
