Subject: Walking to house reefs from laguna

Hi! This is a great, informative site-many thanks, wonderfully updated.

Just want to ask if it's easy to cross over to the redang reef side and snorkel at the front and back house reefs from laguna redang. Pardon my ignorance as I seem to think they're separated by rocks/hill? Can easily cross over?

Laguna and Redang Reef are located quite close next to each other but do not share the same beach as the beach is interrupted by a small rocky hill. A wooden walkway built alongside this hill connects Redang Reef to the main Pasir Panjang beach in front of Laguna and provides easy access between these 2 resorts. You can simply swim out from the beach in front of Laguna to the housereefs in front of Redang Reef. It's not that far. Once there, you can go around the rocky outcrop to get to Reef's rear beach if you are confident enough (longer distance, water gets deeper and rougher, and best not to go alone). The easiest way is to just walk across Redang Reef from the front beach to the back beach and enter from there.
