To comment I AM NOT AGAINST it but heavily for it because I have been a true goth by ENTIRE life as I have always been drawn to gothic ways and personlity and just my general ways and NOT just because I love dark colors to wear as it goes much deeper than this. People act like a----holes and poke fun at our lifestyle because they are bland, ordinary creatures who feel it just to pick on people who differ from them. I ask these disturbed individuals this "Would you really prefer a world where EVERYONE was the same as you and why is this?" They soon see how irrational their thinking is or should and eventually some do wise up in terms of being more accepting. I do not want to be accepted because I have ALWAYS been a nonconformist not because it is "cool or whatever" just because it is my true nature to be this way. It is sad to see others judge our lifestyle when they such horrid stereotypes about how they assume we are. It is quite funny in an ironic way when you think about it, besides the genitourturers may not be a goth band really but I like what they say in a song of theirs "Hail to the freaks" and also I like (again just a quote from a non-gothic band BUT I still like it) "You look at me because I am different and I look back at you because you are all the SAME!" How true and Ce la vie!! Greenslime signing off. Sorry so long winded but these are my opinions and from one who chooses to be this way and ALWAYS has been this way and proud of it.
