Maybe it is the curiosity from standing on the outside looking in.

Maybe it is the rebel inside of me whose soul has been crushed by my overly conservative wealthy parents.

But, every time I would walk by Hot Topic (and from what I hear, true goths do not shop there?) and see the boy with the raven spiked hair, the heavy eyeliner, the skin tight shirts and the chained pants rocking out to the Screamo music, I g get goosebumps.

When I am on vacation with my parents and the Radcliffe's eldest son walks by me sulking, as if he was in pain from the sun hitting his pale face, he sends chills up my spine.

I may wear the tennis skorts, the crisp collared polos, and have multiple friends whose names rhyme with Muffy, but there is something about that lifestyle that sends my mind into a tailspin.

I am sure you hear it all the time and frankly, I would be annoyed too.

Maybe it is the fact that mother would faint to see me walking hand-in-hand with a "walker of the night" as the women of the club refer to them.

But, I can't help but wonder what life would be like if I had more of those kinds of people in my circle.

-sighs- who knows?

Forever curious,
A
