I am descended from James Thomas McGuiness and his wife Emma Armstrong. I don't know where James originated, but am desperately trying to find out. I know that he died @1940-46 in Cambridge MA or Salem NH. My father, James Thomas McGuinness was born @1925, Emma was born 1900--don't know James' (father) age. But may be there is a tie to the "some brothers went to USA."
