Subject: Emma Jane McGinnis

Looking for my GreatGrandmother Emma Jane McGinnis b. abt 1866 in Mo. or Tx. Married James Albert Smith 4-7-1889 in Grayson Co. Tx. Had 4 children James David, Johnny Lewis, Mary Lee Smith Chaney and my grandmother Letha Pearl Smith Keck. Emma had at least 3 brothers Dutch, David,and Jake(these may be nicknames) 1 sister Helen. Her father was b. in Ill. and her mohter in New York. Emma died in 1911 in Linn Township, Marshall Co. Oklahoma somewhere around Dec. My grandmother was an infant at the time. She was raised by her uncle William "Ed" Smith and his wife Salinda "Linda" McGinnis (unknown if related to Emma) Smith. If you have any info on this McGinnis family I would be eternally grateful.
