According to the Franciscan Michael O' Cleirigh born 1580 in his Annals of the Four Masters, the
Magennis pedigree comes from the line of King Milesius of Spain. You can read this pedigree on the Olive Tree Genealogy site at:http://www.rootsweb.com/~ote/magen.htm
Also Tony McGuinness's site has some Magenis clan history including Coronation Stone
