Author: Hugh McGUINNESS,or Mcginnes.
Subject: Research

Hello There, I am enquiring about any descendants of a McGuinness family from Edinburgh.
My great grandfather, and great great grandfather, were both called Hugh.
At the time of the 1881 cencus, the name was spelled Mcginness.
Hugh senior was Woolen Warehouseman. He married a Bridget. They had sons Hugh,John, and Thomas. And daughters Catherine,Mary, and Ann,
I would be interested to hear from anyone connected with this family. Many Thanks.
Regards Jim Henderson.
