I'm not going to bash HHH just because he uses the same moves over and over. When you think about it Warrior did too. The difference between the two is that Warrior was able to make up for his lack of ring skills by entertaining the crowd even before he stepped in the ring. Music starts, Warrior runs to the ring, shakes the ropes, pumps his arms up and down, the crowd goes WILD! And that's before the bell rings to begin the match. There has never been a wrestler who has been able to fire up a crowd like that before or after Warrior and I doubt there ever will be.

HHH's promos are about as interesting as watching paint dry. He speaks in the same dull, drawn out tone all the way through. Usually when HHH picks up the mic I say two words: piss break.
Say what you will about Warrior's promos. One thing they were not is boring.

Once in the ring Warrior used power moves to overcome his opponents. Because that's the carachter he portrayed. A wildman. An unstoppable human wrecking machine who blasted through everything in his path. HHH tries to come off as this great technician but fails miserabley. His two best matches recently have been the one vs HBK and afew months back when he faced Ric Flair. In both of those matches HHH was carried by his opponent. I do think that at one time, when Attitude was in it's youth and DX were over, HHH was a fine wrestler who could mix it up with anyone. But not anymore.

When it came to longer PPV matches Warrior was able to tell a story. HHH can't seem to do that. Warrior's feuds had a beginning a middle and an end. They made sense and the fans went home happy. HHH hasn't had a meaningful feud since... ummm... anyone?

There are men who are more deserving of holding the title. But HHH seems intent on hogging it for a long time to come.
