It is obvious that you didn't see Wrestlemania X8 to speak of it like it's some kind of joke...

Wrestlemania X8 was very good. I was one of the 70'000 fans who brought hulkamania back! I was at the Skydome to witness the rebirth of the Red and Yellow! I can only tell one thing buddy, the feeling and the electricity during te rock/hogan match was awesome! It was the highlight of the night! the main event after that was a bit..flat...

Yes Hogan has slowed down... yes he's not the athlete he used to be... But for him to be able to reach deep inside and give us a match of that intensity: it was awesome!

It is the legend that he represents that gave him that push during and after Wresltemania X8... trully not his present in ring ability... I felt like it was a tribute that we fans gave hogan by cheering him during that period of time... and each and every single night after that, it was tribute time for him all over the country (canada and US).

Anyway let's face it, Hogan was never very fast in the ring... not even against the warrior...

The wrestling world has changed a lot during the past 10 years... mostly because of the Hogan / Nwo / Wcw era...
It changed for the better... much more faster that it used to be... much more intense... no more boring holds to slow down the pace (or so much less)... always great matches with the top guys...

I don't understand why some of you don't seem satisfied with the show as presented today?

Look...wrestling is an art... sometimes good... sometimes boring... sometimes very entertaining... sometimes not... but if you don't like it.... stop watching it!

Or swith to TNA (maybe Dusty Rhodes will bring you back good old memories huh?)

Basically what I'm saying: just enjoy the show... have a beer.. relax... jst like when tou were a kid... if you are to mature or too intelligent for wrestling: move on!
