Oh no...letdown. I mean he did win royal rumble & if I'm not mistaken he's getting a title shot at WM XX ( whatever that means bc there are still 2 BELTS ! , which I cant believe this confusion and stupidity continues). I mean Benoit definitely deserves some reward for being maybe the best 'real' wrestler out there and for all his yrs of dedication,etc. But the problem is ProWrestling is Sports Entertainment and it's built on characters and drawing a certain excitment like when larger than life personalities such as HULK, WARRIOR, UNDERTAKER, MACHO MAN, ANDRE THE GIANT. It was these type of Mythical figures that made it interesting and storylike. Sorry but Chris Benoit mine as well be in the Olympics since he's that good of a real wrestler and Kurt Angle should have stayed there (talk about getting bored of someone). I dont see benoit,angle, and a few other similar types you can name ever drawing that much fan support or ratings. WrestleMania 20 should be a 16 man Tournament for the 1 World Championship belt. They should throw the other belt in the Garbage Can.
