Jeremy, to clarify what I was getting at in my post. I was referring to his early matches in WWF where he was built up to be an unstoppable monster by working short matches against lower card talent.
I agree with your point about how Warrior was able to work very good longer matches when it was asked of him. You mentioned his Wrestlemania VI and VII matches. I'd throw in the matches against Rude at Wrestlemania V, Summerslam '89 and Summerslam 90. I also think his match vs Savage at Summerslam '92 was a classic with yet another great story bullt up around the two in the weeks preceeding the event.

Many people only think of Warrior as a squash wrestler because he was had so many squash matches when he started in WWF. Not just all the jobbers he went through on weekly TV. He had some high profile squashes also. His first IC Title victory lasted just 30 seconds. He also had a string of squashes against the late great Andre The Giant. Some of those matches lasted just 10 seconds but were mostly at house shows and never saw TV. And who could forget his 90 second destruction of HHH at WM XII?
