I sent the Warrior an e-mail quite a while back asking about his website and he replied

My e-mail:

Hi Mr Warrior I would like some information regarding your website (www.ultimatewarrior.com ). I have recently purchased the rights to the www.ultimatewarrior.co.uk domain name. On the web site I would like to use, with your permission if possible, some of the images, such as the Warrior shields. Also would it be possibale to use some of your Warrior wisdom, such as the 5 mission satements and your Warrior wisdom quotes like the one on the home pasge of your site. The web site I wish to create has no intention of becoming a anti-Warrior site or anything like that if you know what I mean. Please could you help me out. Also thank you for taking time out to read my e-mail. Ashley Simmons

Ashley. Thank you for writing and asking. But no, I cannot let you use characterizations and identities from ultimatewarrior.com. The reason is very simple. Who I am is WHO I really am. Who Ashley Simmons is, is who Ashley Simmons really IS. Of course, I appreciate your being a fan, if indeed you are. And it goes without saying domain names can be had by those who buy them, but there is more behind what ultimatewarrior.com is than just the name. It is a representation of all I am as a person with a unique identity. I can't just let others assume who I am, and your domain, although similar in name, can never be a correct representation of who I am, just as I could never be the correct representation of who ashley Simmons IS. We are two different people, living two different lives. I don't want people to be confused that I have anything to do with the domain name you have. In fact, I never do anything, interviews or otherwise, at any domain except mine, so people will not be confused about what I, Warrior, am saying on topics I speak on. I think you understand.
That said, there are, as you may or may not know, many legal issues involved with what I, by law, own. I am attempting to put things in their proper perspective, nicely, because that is the way I am. I will think to myself that you understand that, and don't otherwise choose to do what is disrespectful and go against what I have laid out here in this letter. Thank you. Warrior.
