Subject: Wrestling Radio Talk vs WHFR-FM Update

Good evening guys and gals, this is your friendly neighborhood Phoenix here with an update of something a posted a few weeks ago.

After some deep investigation myself and Dan Merritt we have found the root of our problems to get wrestling talk radio on WHFR.

Now for those of you who don't know WHFR, it's Henry Ford Community College's FM radio station. They've been on for some years now and have a certain mission statement of concentrating on all things local and independent that aren't able to receive the huge playtime they do on other FM radio station. Now I know what you’re thinking...."WELL DUH!!!" Am I right?

Believe me I've been thinking the same thing since last Thursday when I heard this come from the Program Director's mouth. It turns out that the station advisor and the PD are willing to give Dan and myself a chance...but there is one person that is standing in our way. She's the General Manager.

Needless to say tomorrow at WHFR's staff/officers meeting I will personally be talking with her and doing my hardest to finally get something going.

We still need you to be sending in those emails if you have not.

Now just to let you know that we have an ally at WHFR, he has a radio show that he is willing to give up 2-3 hours once a month for us to help promote you. But in my eyes and in Dan’s eyes that isn’t good enough for the wrestling scene.

So don’t fear everyone, we are still fighting for Michigan Independent wrestling to become a part of WHFR.

Keep your fingers crossed ladies and gents and I will hopefully have an update for you tomorrow night.
