The Grand Stay is a great place to stay when inspecting at the New Flyer plant in St. Cloud Minnesota. They have one and two bedroom suites that even have a dishwasher, TV in both living room and bedroo, breakfast in the morning, full kitchen. They even have a couple of gas grills outside. Indoor pool and hot tub. No restaurant or bar but just across the street from both. A short walk, a block or two and you are downtown, take you to lots of bars and restaurants. Safe and only about 8 easy miles to the plant.

They WILL negotiate on extended stays so be sure to ask for a discount from rack rates. Actually cheaper than most of the typical motel rooms in town with lots more value.

What are your experiences with the state of Quality control at various bus manufacturers?

My own experiences are fairly negative. Very few have a real built in standard of quality that they impose on themselves. They seem to rely on the Onsite inspector, representatives of the client, to both inspect and establish a standard.

What do you think?
