So, what you are basically saying is that because a person does not follow one particular type of Christianity, they are automatically, irrevocably a worshipper of Satan? Besides, it isn't intended to change the topic to satanism. The point is that there are many religions out there that offer more encouragement and hospitality to people than Christianity. And the statements that you made show exactly what I mean. If I were someone only THINKING about Christianity, and not sure yet if I wanted to become a part of it, you would have just turned me away by saying that. But would you have said that? Of course not. You would have made it sound chipper to become Christian, and dire to not become Christian, but you would not have said, "You aren't a Christian? Than you're a satanist! Quickly, repent!" You would have charmed them into the idea. Isn't that the point? Either way, regardless of what you say, my topic remains the same: Christians (as individuals that represent a group) do many things that are absolutely appalling, and it turns people off. Not only that, but they reverse their own words, and the words of their Christ, in every day action and circumstance. One more time, just to make sure you have it...satanism was brought up as a for-instance, not as a scapegoat. I would ask that you not change the subject.

Sorry it's taken so long.

You've brought up a logical point that in some cases it IS TRUE that it appears that other religions show more hospitality and encouragement than some Christians. My point in my response is in agreement with what Jesus said;

John 14:6
6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (NIV)

IOW if you reject Christ as He is, it doesn't matter how nice you are you show you're against Him. Anyone that is not for Christ is against Him.

Matt 12:30
30 "He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. (NIV)

It's either one OR it's the other. Many claim to be Christian that just do nice things. Doing nice things and CLAIMING to be a Christian does NOT MAKE YOU a Christian. A true Christian will always point to glorifying God in Christ. I think you have misjudged Christians.
