I love the fantasy genre! And mysteries! I met a mystery author once and she liked my name so well she used it as a character in a book! But, try Anne McCafferey. Her Dragonriders of Pern books are great! Start with "Dragon Song". If you want something else try Terry Prachett! He is so funny! Read "Interesting Time" or "Masqurade" and compare his wizards and witches to Harry Potter! I sit and laugh out loud while everyone else is trying to concentrate on serious stuff!
