is it that we don't have the athletes, or is it that the athletes don't go to the meets.
ex: the hamilton spectator games is the only indoor meet in canada that is left from the glory days. now, i know the track isn't the best, but does that really matter? where were the top athletes? i know that th juv/sen championships were the same weekend (which brings up the issue of GET ORGANIZED)but where were the top juniors? the 1500 had some good guys, but the best just aren't showing up. the highschool 3000 was brutal, some may say that the finish was good, but it was FAR from the fastest guys. who would want to go watch a race when the top guys aren't going to show up?
