I think the obvious answer would be the decathlon, becuase it's 10 events, not just one, but if we're looking for just one event...I'm going to say the 3000m steeplechase. Not only are you killing yourself by running 3000m at a quick pace, you also have to gain up enough energy to jump over those damn barriers, and running with wet shoes when you're really tired is not a fun experience.
