If you aren't family, they can't tell you anything, unless they (the nurses) know it's okay with the patient. Maybe when Wuff's up, he needs to tell the nurses Muff has permission to have info. This privacy thing drives me nuts. It used to be nice when they listed who was in and out of the hospitals, because often you didn't know someone was in until they were well out or well dead. You could send them cards or get wells. But, I suppose for the people who went in for penis implants or terminal gonhorrea or the teenagers who go in to have a baby, it was embarrassing for them and their families (not that the reason for being in the hospital was ever listed.)
