I saw episode #1 46 years ago and have stuck with pretty
much for the entire run. I think Hogan has revitalized
the show. What worked in 1956 when Irna was at the helm
won't necessarily do so in 2002. I think people would
throw up if FATHER KNOWS BEST started up with Princess,
Kitten, Bud and Jane Wyatt's apron. I don't like all the
storylines but that is what we have clickers for. Katie
irritates the hell out of me but is loved by others. I
think most of the shows will be gone within the next five
years. A sign of the times. But I will watch until the
bitter end.
