Subject: Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers!!!

Jon is home now from the hospital and resting quietly. He has an area of blood on the brain in the left front quadrant and that is slowing subsiding. His C4 and C5 disks in his spine which are located directly behind your adams apple in your neck were pushing on his spinal cord. They went in from the front of Jon's throat and removed the C4 disk and put in a replacement along with a steel plate and two screws. His recovery time for this is between three to 5 weeks and time out of a race car at least 6 months.

When he is feeling better and able, you will see him right back out there rooting you all on for the rest of this season.

To all who helped with the car and the ambulance crew, I thank you for all that you did to get Jon the best of care.
