Subject: wiring up a temp warning light?

i am wanting to put a temp. warning light in our restrictor car, we are running a honda f3, does anyone know where i can get the correct sender for this, the one on the engine now keeps the light on all the time, i think it must be for a gauge, so where can i get one for an idiot light. my local honda dealer does not seem to be able to look up the correct part. thanks, David
