this is just my two cents - the singles are fun to watch, it reminds me of how the sport began many years ago, when twins were the top class. some people have a tendency to forget what got them to place they are today, it was the singles and twins. as far as payouts go, why have a set payout, why not base payouts on the number of entries. then everyone would know, the larger the car count the higher the payout. the payout could be based on a specific percentage of the feature getting paid, or if you want everyone in the feature to be paid, that also could be figured on a percentage basis. finally, if you are racing to make money or break even, forget it, you need to take up another hobby, because, that's all racing at this level is, a hobby. maybe one or two drivers will be the next jeff gordon or tony stewart, but the majority won't make it. enjoy life to the fullest, enjoy the opportunity. many people, myself included, envy the opportunity you racers have, don't screw it up.
