Bloody typical. If the Zeds are to win the cup they're certainly going to have to continue doing it the hard way. You'd think that after scraping through tricky ties against The Badger, The Matapan and BCFC, the Zeds might have a bit of luck with the draw. Anyway, it doesn't matter too much because QUINCY'S BACK! With a steely glint in his eye and the wind in his........head, he broke his recent losing streak last Wednesday and then proceeded to win 4/4 on Sunday. What a guy!

Yes, those doubters who started to write Quincy off must be kicking themselves now. I, for one, never doubted him for a minute. Form is temporary, class is permanant I often say when discussing Quince with those who can't see further than a couple of dozen bad results.

I understand Q. was 1/3 of the triumphant three-man team that trounced Messrs Carney/Runghen & Pointer (Jnr) tonight.
5 - 3 to Quincy/Parker & Pointer (Snr)

Yes, it must have been a chastening experience for the gel-boys, but I'm sure they will be all the better for it. A successful night all round for the Zeds senior citizens, as the Adams/Bryant combo won their KO doubles match, with the more hirsuit half also winning his KO singles match.
