There could be some truth to this, Andy failed to turn up for his Singles K/O match. As a 4 time previous winner Andy was rightly very proud of his achievements in this event, and to give it up without a fight this season, would appear to confirm his 'retirement' from the game.
He will be sorely missed by all the teams he's played for, and even more by the teams who were waiting for their turn to come round.

Now, that is exactly the kind of biting satire we're looking for!

>Rumour has it that the Dutch was blissfully playing in a Tuesday night league match with his Bull Good buddies, when his singles match was on.

Surprised they didn't tell him, especially the ones who'd postponed their own singles to the Weds.

Would never have happened in the Zeds.

My money is on 'when' rather than 'if'. Man cannot live by plastering alone. Especially those from the Netherlands.

That's settled then, on the strength of that firm commitment I'll start looking for excuses to kick someone out of the Zeds to make room. Betting Bob is early favourite.

Any chance of an exclusive statement straight from the Dutch himself explaining his apparant exit from the game.

After 20 years of playing at least once sometimes five times a week,I feel like a break what with trying to do my house up and saving to go abroad instead of going to Yarmouth three times a year, now is as good as anytime. I'm just seeing out the Tueday league as i'm top of the averages and which there is a nice little trophy on offer,
It's one i've not won before......

I shall make a comeback one day but for now i will give someone else the chance to win things around the Havering And Barking Area.

So for now you will just have to put up with me on this forum making snidey comments about you all.
