The last 64 draw for the B&D Singles has been particularly kind to the three Zeds still standing,

Alan Pointer has drawn another lower division unknown

John Runghen's pulled one of only 3 byes

and Keith Bryant's got to play a girl young enough to be his daughter, so absolutely no pressure there.

Other interesting matches include

Dean Wisher v Mick Harold
Richard Green v Ram Hoolas
Steve Townley v Paul Coleburn
Justin Young v Mark Yates
Mark Parker v Laura Llewellyn

an all Lads clash of Ray Hovell v Wayne Pardon

Karen Yates & Danny Downes also get byes, thus ensuring at least one of the 5 Lady players left in gets into last 32 (not counting Keith's one)

Danny is, of course, the youngest competitor left in and thus still on course to be the youngest ever winner, an honour believed to belong currently to Andy Holland who first won it at a very tender age.

But the clash of the round must be the all Eagle encounter between Darren Collison & Jimmy Nichols

Anyone really looking at this, may start to believe that the draw is being fixed

Alan - Another easy draw?????
John Runghen - One of three byes
Keith - Playing a baby!!!

Whats going on??
Sort this disgrace out??

i think this should be looked into with great detail?? who was present when draw was done????

Maybe this will be the year for a zed winner???
especially if draw works that way??

I think John's entitled to an easy draw after seeing off Steve Adams and Rob Hill. Keith has in fact got the draw from hell. The only two options open to him are winning or suicide, while I think Alan would agree that there is no such thing as an easy draw for him.

Thank you mr bryant!
