Shock news, Barking 'A' have sensationally pulled out of this years Team K/O. They were due to play their postponed match from the last Round against The Matapan on Tuesday, in time for the victor to entertain the Zeds on Weds.
However Gary Parsons has given The Matapan a walkover, because he says Barking 'A' are currently unable to field a full team, and would only embarress themselves turning up and playing short of players.

At this time it is unclear whether all his team members agree with his actions, or indeed even knew about them.

The last 16 match on Wednesday will now feature The Matapan at home to the Zeds, who expect to be able to field their strongest side.

Full Last 16 Draw

B.U.S.C. v B.F.S.C.

B.P.C. Lads v Bull, Romford

Matapan v I.P.C. Zeds

Vikings v Eagles

Clan v B.F.C.'B'

Larks v D.W.M.C.

Cauliflower v Stags

I have had an urgent message from the Bull to turn up on Wednesday as they lack players, they've got two hopes.....

Despite their unsuccessful attempts to bring Dutch out of reirement, the Bull have apparantly been knocked out of the K/O cup. I say apparantly because the result card is incomplete, only 6 results being filled in which appear to have the Bull winning 4 - 2. However a final 5 - 4 score to the Lads has been filled in, neither Captain has signed result card.

One result in that is beyond doubt, the Zeds 8-1 win against the Matapan

Those 'Lads' as they call themselves, 'Noisy Young Hooligans' I'd call them, are getting a bit too big for their boots and are in need of taking down a peg or two. I feel that the team most suited to this task are those nice young men from the Ilford Pool Club, 'The Zeds' I believe they are called. What a nice presentable bunch of chaps. The sort of chaps you'd be more than happy to let pimp for your crack-addicted daughter.

Reports coming in indicate Lads v Bull equally poised 4-4, but Bull didn't have a 9th player. If I was a registered Bull player and wasn't there when they needed me, I'd probably be so overcome with guilt that I'd retire from the game.

I gave the Bull enough warning i was retiring.....
but will step out of retirment next season to be a team manager, so beware everyone! i'm after your star player's, already had a decent offer from a prem side and will be poaching within the next two month's. A side i'm concentrating on getting together to not only win the Barking League' but more in thought's of champ of champ's.
NOW THAT'S GOT YOU THINKING AIN'T IT.

Zeds cruise into semi-finals 5 - 2 against Barking Football Club.

Sadly one of the two losses was again Born again novice Quincy, who pushes his tally of consecutive losses to 8 in his relentless quest to overhaul Terry McGovern's 1989 all time Zed record of 14.

Unconfirmed reports coming in to Rumour control indicate at least one shock result in the other quarter-finals, plus news of a team failing to show up !!!!!!!!!!!

Picture the scene, K/O cup semi-final, High Flying Eagles v Relegation battling Zeds. Last time the teams met 6 -2 to the Eagles. Eagles still chirping of the time they turned up with 5 players and won 5 - 3

Scoreline Eagles up 4-1, Zeds best two players already played and lost, only one possible outcome :- that's right 5-4 to the Zeds.

Now Capt Zed's masterplan can be revealed. Eagles have in Darren Collison, Dean Wisher, Andy Breen, Paul Coleburn and Jimmy Nichols probably 5 of the best 6 players from either team. But their other 4 are nowhere near the same quality. So the plan was simple enough, win 1 of the games against their top 5, and don't lose any of the other 4 against their minnows.

Although teams had to be put down separately, Capt Zed gambled that the Eagles would follow the same format that they have in their previous 3 home games, and so he matched his players accordingly. Sacrificing Scott Fuller against Darren Collison enabled him to match the rest in pairs that had the Zed player either being favourite or at least having a reasonable chance. Luckily the Eagles stuck to their predicted format so the plan had every chance of success. Unfrtunately Jimmy Carney, Steve Sanders and Alan Engledow all failed to topple their top 5 opponant, meaning that Steve Adams had to beat Jimmy Nichols to give our other (lesser) players the chance to beat their Eagle equivalents to win the match. Quincy came good and the rest is now Zed Folklore.
