Being one of the few Zeds who was actually there last time England won the World Cup. By there of course I mean in front of the telly. I'm afraid I can't see us going far this time. You need at least a 'spine' of world class players and I think there's still a question mark against Beckham's fitness. Should he survive until the Argentina game I expect they will take him out, one way or another and without him, with Gerrard already gone, I can't see England progressing any further.
Also seeing the probable team against Sweden, surely if you're gonna play Heskey, he must be up front as battering ram centre forward, not as wide midfield.
Only hope Sherringham comes on in time to save the game

Watching the Sweden game made me realise that nothing much has changed in the last thirty years. Sol Campbell lumping the ball up to shortest man on the pitch, Michael Owen, looks much the same as Dave Watson lumping the ball up to shortest man on the pitch, Kevin Keegan. At least when the Irish do it, it's part of a game plan and not just them running out of ideas. Oh well, it's a good sign to start poorly. If that is the case then the Zeds could very well win the league.

That's two words. Short people are a blight on society. Have nothing to do with them. The only thing worse than a short person is a short ginger person. Or worse still, a short French ginger person.
