What is going on with the good captain? Banned from uk-pool.com, then relegated to the slagging corner on uk8ball.com! There are obviously dark forces at work here as the voice of reason is forcibly being given laryngitis.

Never mind Captain, you are welcome to post your views here which I am sure will be enjoyed by both our regular contributors, me and the other bloke. However, I think it might be time to bin the "How to win friends and influence people" book.

The old boy's making a name for himself hey, every pool forum you go on now they want him off there site. How long until he gets banned from this one?

Bearing in mind that he's the man in charge of team selection, I would be loathe to chuck him off here even if he started posting his crackpot theories about the earth being flat.

Would have been more impressed CyberZed, if you'd gone more along the lines of "I might not always agree with what the Capt says, but by God, I'll die defending his right to say it." rather than the wimpish reference to team selection.

After all do I ever think, got to pick that loser Cyberzed again, even though he's lost his last 5 in a row, and isn't fit to chalk Quincy's spare cue (the one without a tip on it) or else he'll use his position as a press Baron to publicly humiliate me. Of course not, selection based entirely on merit, and the 'if you toss a coin often enough, eventually it must come up heads' theory.

Wimpish?? Wimpish??? How can you say that to a man who is so hard he doesn't even wear a vest when it's chilly? And as for dying defending your right to free speech, I would gladly give my miserable inconsequential excuse of a life for the cause. Or if I was busy, someone else's.
