Congratulations to the Zeds, or 'Tony and his Uncles' as their now blown alias was, on winning the fifth coveted 5 'drunk as a skunk' man team event at St.Scratby on the East Anglian Riviera last month. What impressed me the most was that they split the prize money and managed to get everyone still standing half a shandy each (with enough left for some pork scratchings for the bearded one)- Fair Play. Lets hope you get the opportunity for a title defence.

P.S. Who was my dancing partner on the saturday night?

Thank you, Action, something most Zeds have seen little of for some time.

We had to keep our true identity's as Zeds under wraps for fear of frightening off the opposition. But just like Cliff Richard releasing a single under a false name to see if it would still make the charts, A Zed by any other name, is still a lethal adversary.

As for dancing partner, was it CyberZed? I'm only guessing, but as you don't reveal your sex, I'm covering all bases.

I have a sneaky suspicion that the dancing partner was CyberZed although I had my beer goggles on and everything that moved looked tasty that weekend (except the food)!
As for comparing Zeds to Cliff Richards - I didn't see many Peter Pan's of Pool there - just a few Mr. Bojangles.

Surely the plural of Mr Bojangles would be Misters Bojangles, which could of course not be shortened to Mrs Bojangles without changing the quantity and sex.

I fear the thrust of your jibe was directed at the graceful ageing process typified by several Senior Zeds. Only Quincy is stopping us becoming the Grey Zeds, but whilst his hair remains pink we retain a youthful non grey or ungrey majority.
