By way of offering constructive suggestions instead of simply criticizing as I did last night, here are some ideas (in case the webmaster happens to read these forums).

First, contrary to how my previous message reads, I actually appreciate how the site offers different payment options instead of a single flat fee per month. If I felt it was worthwhile, the $100 signup / $5 per month plan would become less expensive than the $49.95 signup / 29.95 per month plan after only four months.

However, since it will undoubtedly take some time to generate a lot of content for the site, perhaps offer an "introductory" rate for the first month or for the first hundred subscribers. This would get people to sign up and help spread the word about the site while still generating some revenue, instead of turning people off with the high price tag and apparently limited content.

Second, I personally like almost any kind of watch, but if the site is restricted to steel, you run the risk of alienating a large portion of the internet watch fetish community who are partial to G-Shock/Baby-G, Swatch, Guess/Fossil, watches with leather bands, etc.

Of course, it's your site and your prerogative, and we all know good watches are not cheap. To that end, when speaking with a potential model, perhaps she could be encouraged to bring her own watch or watches to the shoot to take some pictures with. You might even consider offering a small bonus for each additional watch the model provides that is used during the shoot. This would allow for a greater variety which would appeal to more people with minimal overhead cost.

Finally, simply, more samples! I might have been willing to spring for a month at $49.95 (although a bit less would be nice) if I had more of an idea what to expect. At this point though, there just isn't enough there to convince me it's worthwhile.

Best of luck with the site, and I hope to see more soon and might even give it a try some day.
